![]() "user = root" in /etc/xinetd.d/tftp vs "nobody" does make a difference: TFTP does not work on the Window PC to the Linux Host without it.įor the custom board, I'm getting some results. The settings that work for PC to Linux Box:Ĭommenting out "ftp dgram udp4 wait root /usr/sbin/in.tftpd /usr/sbin/in.tftpd -s /tftpboot" in /etc/nf does not seem to make a difference, and neither does "root" vs. # wget -O /var/lib/tftpboot/evm-demo-img.jffs2 ![]() Wget -O /var/lib/tftpboot/uImage_DaVinci # Downloading kernel and filesystem images from server # Downloading the new configuration file from my server Sudo mv /etc/default/tftpd-hpa /etc/default/tftpd-hpa_ORIGINAL # Change configuration of tftpd-hpa and add this # Changing permissions of directory /var/lib/tftpboot Sudo apt-get install tftpd-hpa tftp-hpa ssh I just execute it and then I can download images from the board. I solved the problem momentarily making a script that configures TFTP server in a Ubuntu 10.04 live session. I had problems using tftpd in a VMware virtual machine.
